Grass Walker

A zine about loneliness. 

So far, I’ve made about 3/4 mini zines, and I wanted to try out making a zine where I’d need to bind it. This zine has 8 pages and was bound with embroidery thread using the pamphlet stitch! This was my first time creating my own stickers with magazine clippings. I had to get creative considering my printer has decided to forever not work YAY!!!

I was inspired by a Tiktok that someone posted about being a ‘grass walker’ - an outcast friend, unpopular, a loner. I got flashbacks of me walking with my friends after school, and not having enough room to walk beside them on the pavement. I had to either trail behind them or awkwardly walk on the grass. I made this zine to vent about sometimes still feeling like I was being left out, even in new friend groups.
